2009
The group INMATE stepped into the year 2009 with a performance at a promotion concert of the group Last Day Here for the release of their new video. In April INMATE`s new vocalist MIKE joined the group. The premiere performance of the group that was finally complete was at Metal Camp. At the end of the year they performed as a support band on a tour of the group Dweal, and at the same time, they worked intensively on their pre-production recordings. At the end of the year the band started to work with a hybrid record label Graviton Music Services. The group`s main goal in the upcoming year is to publish their long-awaited debut album.
2008
In February the bands drum editing is finished. Guitar recording lasts from February till April. After that the frontman place empties again. The group decides to stop recording. All the remaining concerts they perform without a singer.
2007
The group records the drums for their debut album in cooperation with the producer Tat Purusha in January 2007, at the studio Metro in Ljubljana. In the same period the first singer decides to leave the band. Again, the band appears in concerts without a singer until the end of the year, when a new singer joins them.
2006
After numerous concerts across Slovenia, the band decides to take part in a music competition called Dnevi mladih in kulture in Velenje. They take place among 4 of the best bands. Shortly after, the guitar player leaves the band. In summer they participate in the biggest Slovenian festival Metalcamp. In autumn they perform at the national competition of rock bands in Lendava (Zlata činela) where they win the second place. At the end of the year Aleš Kroflič fills up the empty spot of the guitar player.
2005
The end of three bands (Rotting Cemetery, Astris, Supremacy) leds to formation of a new band called Inmate. The band starts to appear in concerts since the end of the year 2005. At first they appear only instrumental, without the leading singer. At the beginning of the next year they finally start to perform as a complete cast.
